Inauguration of New Classrooms and Library : A Proud CSR Initiative to Empower Education

In a significant stride towards fostering quality education and community development, Foseco India Limited has inaugurated a set of new classrooms at Zilla Parishad School,  Jategaon Khurd Village and Anand Ashram School, Talegaon Dhamdhere as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This project highlights the organization’s commitment to contributing positively to society by enhancing educational infrastructure and creating an environment conducive to learning.

The newly inaugurated classrooms and Library are designed to accommodate total of 500 students, equipped with modern learning aids, comfortable furniture, and improved ventilation. These facilities aim to provide a stimulating and safe environment where students can focus, innovate, and grow academically and personally.

Education is the foundation of a progressive society. Recognizing this, Foseco India Limited in collaboration with Rotary Foundation has prioritized investing in educational infrastructure to bridge gaps in learning facilities, especially in underserved communities. The initiative reflects a deep commitment to empowering children and youth, enabling them to reach their full potential and become responsible citizens.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by school staff, community leaders and representatives from Rotary Foundation. During the event, Mr. Prasad Chavare, Managing Director and CEO Foseco India said, “These classrooms symbolize more than just physical infrastructure; it signifies hope, opportunity, and the collective effort to build a brighter future”.  He emphasized the importance of collaboration between corporate entities and educational institutions to promote sustainable development.

This project is part of Foseco India Limited broader CSR Theme aimed at improving educational access and quality to ensure that students receive holistic support.
